CUTTING THE RUG

What does cutting rugs have to do with Sioux Falls (that's where you left us)? It has nothing to do with Sioux Falls - we're taking a day off from travel. It will refresh us all and give some people who posted incorrect answers a chance to re-think the question (hint : MA is the state abbreviation for Massachusetts). However, there are no off days when it comes to pop quizes: Today being November 7th - what significant event in Malinak history occurred on this date??

The latest significant event occurred this morning when the old rug in the 1st floor bedroom was ripped out and replaced:

And yes, it actually does look lighter in daylight. However you will note that it is a basic neutral color. And here is the happy homeowner, cutting the rug on the newly cut rug.

And now of course it will be necessary to repaint the room. You all may cast a vote for the color you would like.

Too late! The boss already decided. However it was a democratic discussion that lasted 2 days (remember it took all of 3-4 minutes to choose the carpet). One person wanted an accent wall, one did not. One person wanted a white ceiling, one did not. The final decision was all walls and ceiling one color. Can you guess which one?

Sorry that I missed commenting on this in a timely fashion. The new carpet looks great. I haven't peeked ahead to see what you chose, but I painted our downstairs "Cream in my coffee" and "Hopsack", and it looks really good! Hope you like the paint colors you chose.
